Getty Center in Los Angeles has one of the altitude collections of European art and statue in North USA and remains one of the top-visited art salons in the United States. The lasting collection consists of European paintings, drawings, manuscripts, sculpture and decorative arts [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and European and American photographs. The recently established Getty Center was constructed in 1997 by famous architect Richard Meier in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. The Getty Center is a massive complex of modernly styled erections that house the Getty art accumulation, the Getty Research Institute, and the Getty Conservation Institute. In adding, there is a chief garden situated on the grounds with panoramic views of Los Angeles.
Five of the Getty Center's must-see artworks include:
1. Vincent Van Gogh's Irises - A painting by Vincent Van Gogh while he was alive at the refuge at Saint Paul-de-Mausole in France. The loosened brushstrokes and lack of traction in his paintings during this time were specific of Van Gogh's paintings guiding up to his cerebral aggression at the asylum.
