6-2 Baby,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! What a perfect game for the 75th Anniversary party/Homecoming! Ben was on fire! And I totally figured when interviewed about the 5 touchdowns he would point out the receivers and o-line and all involved for making them. He's good and predictable with sharing credit.
I have to say, I had an instant reaction of panic/worry/"oh no!" when Ben took his turn to be on the ground in pain. It seemed like the second half,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the fourth quarter in particular,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], had quite a number of guys not getting up right away/needing assistance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], on both sides. I never want anyone, no matter what team, to be hurt more than ice,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a bandage, or rest would fix. To think that way would be unkind and bad sportsmanship. Good thoughts/prayers for good healing.
We took perfect advantage of those turnovers and got big points out of them. There was lots of ketchup pouring in the first half! And how about James Harrison?! It couldn't have been mentioned more that he was doing a great job of filling Joey Porter's shoes. He shined brightly under the Monday Night lights.
Where is Steely McBeam? Did he drown in the river? I haven't heard or seen him in quite awhile. Is he still around?
Saturday night I tried to post, but then my computer threw a fit and I had to turn it off. I wanted to say I was oh so glad that Sunday was coming and would be over. I was reaching my limit of hearing about the Pats/Colts mini-Super Bowl. I know it was a big game, but the rest of the league seemed to be under the huge shadow. I was so rooting for the Colts to win.
I've been very excited with how much attention our game has been getting. Maybe because it was Monday night,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the amount of hall of famers present, James Harrison, Ben being awesome, and wondering "what the heck is wrong with Baltimore." I think the Cleveland game is going to be a good one. This is going to sound backwards, maybe. But I find it a little exciting that the Browns are not stuck in the bottom slot of the division again and that others (Bungals) are sharing the spot.
Here we go Steelers!
