The first green revolution was thought a failure in terms of environment because did not work alongside nature. It failed because of wrong governance. The small peasants were eventually left back and were not able to obtain alms with their harvests. Their voices were not heard. The voices of the people who bought the larger harvests were heard instead. Alongside this new pollutants arrived such as pests, petrol, fertilizers, etc… the green revolution turned out to be a failure, they did not hear and take heed to nature and the regional planters.
