Compare this to a birth control pill, that requires a woman to take one pill at the same time each and every day of a 21 or a 27-day cycle, and it is pretty clear that Nuvaring did offer a significant advantage to other forms of hormonal birth control. <br />Ease of Use of Nuvaring Birth Control <br />In addition, for the most part, Nuvaring delivered on what it promised. As an inner vaginal contraceptive device, Nuvaring is a plastic ring that women insert into their vaginas at the beginning of the reproductive cycle, and it releases a cocktail of hormones throughout the month designed to prevent unwanted pregnancy. <br />When the monthly reproductive cycle is complete, women remove the ring, and insert a new one. Nuvaring is a completely hassle free device that is left in 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, some Nuvaring side effects might eliminate any benefits found with this system. <br />Published Nuvaring Side Effects <br />With Nuvaring, there are basically two kinds of side effects – the more common, less serious ones and the more dangerous, potentially life-threatening ones, and of course, it is the more serious ones that are the most dangerous and life threatening. <br />The published side effects of the Nuvaring contraceptive device were nausea, vomiting, loss of vision, vaginal infections, sinus infections, upper respiratory infections and pain in the arms and legs.
