It is because of this that many of their old musical instruments are still around. They have about 15 kinds of flutes being played today. The Americans have considerably less than this. Many of them are not that popular, so we will discuss only one special flute here. <br />The dizi is perhaps the most popular kind of Chinese flute. It is further divided into two types: quid and bangdi. Dizi is made from bamboo <a href="http://www.pumas.cc/puma-clyde" target="_blank" class="postlink">Puma Clyde</a>, a tree that's very widespread in China. This instrument is played sideways, and it only has six holes for you to play all the important notes. This is because you can only use both hands' pinkies and thumbs to hold it. The other fingers are used for pressing the holes to play different notes. If you practice it well, the rest becomes easy. Learning to play the dizi is similar as learning to play a regular flute. <br />Since you're new to Chinese flute lessons, a few tips would definitely help. You should relax whenever you play. Not only will it help in making you play better by controlling your blowing strength, but also avoids headaches that usually come with continuous blowing. In addition, your fingers should accurately cover the correct holes. It shouldn't leave an open hole, since this can compromise your playing or make the wrong note. <br />The best way to learn is by starting professional chinese flute lessons to guide you from the beginning. Although you may hear people saying they learned to play online, the methods are still different. You may be holding or positioning yourself in an improper manner, and you won't know it. That makes it harder for you to learn. <br />Before you start Singapore flute lessons on Chinese flutes, be sure to understand this: It takes practice to master an instrument. Do not think that you will be good with the flute in just a few weeks. You will need extensive and regular practice to really be good at this. Like all musical instruments around the world, practicing regularly and everyday is the only way to be better. Stop being lazy when it comes to learning and you will benefit from it. <br />Chinese flutes may not be famous in the US, but it beats out its counterparts.
