It has been reported for the last few seasons, often inaccurately, that the Pittsburgh Penguins would consider trading star center Evgeni Malkin.
As the Edmonton Journal reports, the Penguins are still searching for a top-line winger to play alongside Sidney Crosby, however they would probably have to swap a big contract in order to make such an acquisition
While the Journal suggests such a trade appears unlikely, it notes the Penguins could ship Malkin to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for star left wing [link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
