auto industry has been fun to watch over the last couple of years [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the changes couldnt come at a better time. Over the course of the recession, automotive sales took a huge hit. The Toyota Prius, one of the first cars to really change the trend of engine technology over the past several years, was launched just before the industry started getting pounded, when Indianapolis used car dealers saw sales plummeting in the face of consumer disinterest. But the continued progression in terms of new engine technology has spawned a resurgence in consumer interest in some of the fledgling brands on the market. Indianapolis Nissan dealers have been at the forefront of this revolution with the coming of a car that promises to change the automotive climate for the better.
Were getting closer and closer to the launch of the first electric car in the U.S. the 2011 Nissan Leaf. It will join other electric vehicles that are sure to trump the sales of Indianapolis used car dealers, who will soon be offering dated engine technologies with higher total costs of ownership. For its European release, the Leaf will be rolled out in three different stages. Pricing has finally been announced, with the European numbers equivalent to a $36,878 price tag in U.S. dollars. Indianapolis Nissan drivers are glad to hear that the Leaf will be making such a prominent appearance in markets across the entire globe, spanning all of the most influential countries.
The nice thing for Indianapolis Nissan dealers is that the Leaf will be available for slightly less money in the U.S. Perhaps more importantly, the Leafs pricing will be lower than competing vehicles in its segment, a fact that is sure to help sales skyrocket during the initial rollout of the electric car segment. There was even more news that will help make some of the gas guzzlers available at Indianapolis used car dealers extinct. Nissan also just recently announced that the brand will be rolling out three more electric vehicles in the very near future. One of the three will definitely have better applications for city driving, where smaller cars definitely have a leg up on midsize vehicles like the Leaf.
The wait is nearly over for a segment that will help ensure accidents like the one currently bubbling in the Gulf of Mexico will never happen again. Dont get me wrong; were still going to need oil for years to come, but this movement will definitely help reduce our reliance on the gas and oil industry. While some call the consumer backlash against BP a voice of righteous indignation, I like to look at it as a general call to corporations that we rely on in American industry to hold themselves to a higher standard. Yes, we all patronize BP for many daily functions, but that doesnt give the company the right to perform operations without adhering to simple compliance rules. Over the next year or two, I hope well be seeing a huge shift in this area.
